This busy pet behaviour service is based in Surrey and also covers Sussex,  South West London and Kent.

I aim to help you with any problems you are having with your dog by providing behavioural advice, demonstrations and training.

Problem Behaviour Cases are seen on veterinary referral only. This is to ensure that all avenues have been covered and your pet gets the very best treatment.

If you think your pet needs a  consultation, Print or request a referral form and take it to  your vet. Explain that you  would like to be referred to  this advisory service and ask your vet to complete the form and fax it to me. This takes only a  few minutes. Many vets will already have a referral form in their practice.

What To Expect

To make an accurate assessment of the problem, a full history will be taken of your pet's routines and the development of the problem. The appropriate behaviour-modification programme will be discussed with you.

A full written report will be provided within 7 days, with an explanatory letter to your referring veterinary surgeon. Telephone or e-mail support will be available after your  consultation, at no extra cost. However, it will be up to you the client to make contact.

If required, additional visits/training sessions can easily be arranged at a reduced fee to support your work.

Clinic Consultations

Clients requesting a clinic appointment will be seen at North Downs Specialist Referrals based at the Village Animal Hospital in Caterham-on-the Hill. The consultation  will take 1 ½ hours and may involve your family members.

Clients of the Cape Veterinary Clinic, 174 Epsom Road, Merrow, GU1 2RR can also have clinic consultations on request from their veterinarian.

Home Visits

These are a very popular choice. These can often be beneficial as you and your pet can be more relaxed in your own surroundings. This can be a practical solution as training can be demonstrated and the  specific problem may be witnessed in this environment. Sessions last 2 hours approx.

Fees

Leading pet insurers will often cover behaviour referral fees so check your policy.

Clinic Consult: £120.00
Home Visit: £160.00

This is payable at the time of the consultation in the form of cash or  cheque. Unfortunately, credit card payments cannot be taken.

Cheques should be made payable to "Arrowsmith Behavioural Consultancy"

A cancellation charge will apply if less than 24 hours notice is given. If  you do need to change your consult time, this is normally easy to  arrange by telephone or e-mail.

Prices for puppy sessions, training sessions and puppy classes are also available on request.
